Dena and I took a friends advice and went to visit what she said was the best salon in Second Life called the Beauty Bar ~ well as it was Valentines Day coming up along we went and .as you can see word of mouth is not always best…Giggling as you can see ♥ We did, however, have a great time while we waited and waited and waited ~ looks like the one on the left of Dena waited way longer than we did ~ and that poor drunk girl with all the free booze she just slid off the chair into the bowl ~ guess she will have a very wet bum along with a nasty hangover…Dena was surprised watching our manicurist turn into Mr. Bones as he was hot, hunky and handsome when we both sat down ~ since I am the impatient one, got up chose my own polish and did my own nails…looks like the Beauty Bar will not be getting any repeat business in the future as it looks DEAD♥♥♥

Every male likes his own space so Dena and I made a choice to make a Mancave for Sten ~ umm it was very temporary ~ this is truly Dena’s niche in decorating as I love the little touches and how she has incorporated them all ~ most of the items came from past subscription boxes by Deco(c)rate ~ still sad they are no longer as I truly thought they were a very successful subscription box ~ when you look around you might notice there is no TV as Sten has said he is not a big watcher, he is a cat fan so you can tell that I placed 2 of them for him…we truly had fun doing this and already thinking of our next project ~ before I list all the credits I do want to thank all my followers and supporters as it is always nice to see more people following my blog ~ very very appreciated ♥♥ Lastly HUGE thank you’s to Dena my bestie who really did an exceptional job on this ~ hugzz♥
Dena and I decided to go with a Parisian theme in choosing to decorate especially with the great build from this months Deco(c)rate ~ all geared towards Paris ~ from the build by Serenity Style that is truly inspiring we chose just to use a small portion of this build to create one of those outdoor cafes that we imagined passing by and stopping in for a latte and a yummy chocolate croissant ~ I did take a little liberty by changing the name of it on the awning which those that might not understand the words it loosely translates to Friends Bakery along with the other sign of course also in French to say “open” ~ As you look in the window you will see another item from the February crate that the gorgeous balloon chandelier by {-Maru Kado-} ~ as the cafe table that is set for two, which includes coffee pot, napkin holder, plate of croissant and a latte with spoon and the adorable sugar pack ~ love the chairs too that you can see has the Eiffel Tower built into both that was created by Backbone ~ how creative right…the rest we dug deep into our closet to create an adorable outdoor cafe scene ~ there is much more from the crate that we will be showing off for you later so please stick around ♥♥

Yes, do you remember your first place ~ you graduated and you struck out on your own taking everything you own in boxes, bags and whatever ~ getting to your apartment or loft but it was all yours ~ no parents, guardians to look or peek into your room when you were not home going through all your items and maybe even checking under your mattress to find your diary just to see if you are behaving yourself ~ you take a look around at all the space you have as your parents have helped with the bigger stuff like fridge, oven if the place doesn’t come with them ~ and now you get to go to work putting your cherished items out ~ and you know which ones they are ~ that first dolly you got for Christmas, or those stack of books that you might have time to read since you are paying rent and bills so socially it might be cheap nightlife…

Those huge picture windows give in just the right amount of light saving you on having to provide a lot of lamps and the warmth from the fireplace provides just the right amount of heat to keep those bills down…All the little touches that when you look makes it your place…

Having those 2 tall cathedral style windows on both sides along with the skylight really was a find when searching for that perfect place ~ and the window seat that you were able to set out the little stuff you just couldn’t leave behind ~

Each item just brings you smiles and memories ~ a collection of mix matched personal items from your stuffed doggy, the little wabbit, even the wire board that holds pics of those close to you ~ and yes you snuck one of your Gram’s fine art prints just to remind you of her…
Built in Shelves
The built in wall space with ladder is truly perfect to hold your collections of those old classic style radio’s that Gramps told you to hang on to as some day they will be worth much much more ~ the snow globes that were lovingly given by your fave aunt who just knew you would love them ~ and your Dad even presented you with some framed word prints that might be words to live by…
Even the steps provide a place for hiding those boxes and your suitcases and you see your Mom stopped by and placed a gift that will be opened later…your love of candles find their way to the stair steps as well as that one pot holding branches from your parents front yard ~
Loft/Sleeping Area
Going up to the loft style bedroom with the skylight to watch the stars late at night when you cannot sleep ~ plenty of space to fill up with more knicknacks and that huge flat screen TV you placed on layaway as your home warming pressie to yourself ~
Kitchen/Dining Area
Brings to your compact kitchen/dining area that has everything you need when you invite that special someone over to a home cooked meal~ with your cats all safe and comfy
Living area
Desk is set up and laptop is tucked away in the storage area you can finally relax looking at your scrapbook filled with memories ~ and smiling as you take another look at the space you call HOME…

After thinking last night about all my stuff, which my closet and my inventory is for me bursting at the seams it was time to take a look and see exactly what stuff I do have ~ and what better way than to show it off is to put up one of my favorite builders Scarlett Creative aka Charlotte Bartlett cottages called Aria~ if you are lucky to subscribe to the Luxe Box she honors us almost every month with a build ~ the cottage has a very open look to it and I am sure it will be used again with other stuff ~ giggling every time I see that word stuff after listening again to George Carlin‘s monologue I do have to laugh ~ this is such a neat little house and it is an exclusive just for the Luxe Box, which makes it very special ~ you can see this area is very open and could be used as a living room like I did or even split it up with a work area, smaller kitchen stuff ~ possibilities are many..
